At the session of the Assembly of the City of Pirot held on May 20, 2022, the Mid-Term Plan of the City of Pirot for the period from 2022 to 2024 was adopted, the development of which was supported by the “SDGs for All” Platform.

The adoption of the Mid-Term Plan is the result of a seven-month process during which the representatives of the Platform provided expert support to the Office for Local Economic Development of the City of Pirot and the Regional Development Agency South, which were in charge of drafting the document.

Since its inception, the Platform has been supporting the efforts of selected municipalities in drafting local planning documents, provided for in the Law on the Planning System of the Republic of Serbia, and linking them to SDGs. The goal of the Mid-Term plan is to define a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of obligations (measures and activities) that the City of Pirot should implement over a period of three years in accordance with the priorities set out in its Local Development Plan and available resources, both human and material.
