In the premises of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Leskovac, on September 23, 2024, a lecture titled “Greening Local Green Growth” was held. The event was organized as part of the “Green-Blue Communities” project, which is implemented in partnership by the EPuS-Leskovac association and “Rujnice” from Vlasotince, under the Local Sustainable Development Fund managed by the Belgrade Open School, an environmental pillar of the SDGs for ALL Platform.

The lecture, along with the subsequent discussion, largely relied on the results of research on the possibilities for green growth in the city of Leskovac and the municipality of Vlasotince, conducted from June to August 2024. During the discussion, the importance of joint efforts in creating “green-blue communities” that combine economic development with the preservation of natural resources was emphasized. Active participation of local communities is crucial for improving the quality of life and implementing ecological initiatives at the local level, as highlighted in the conclusion.
