A two-day training was held on March 3rd and 4th 2022 for the representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs) from Apatin on the topic Localization of SDGs.
The training was attended by the representatives of the Association “CEKOS”, “Vredene ruke”, Association supporting women in Apatin “Ruža crvena”, Association “Breza”, Association supporting people with Cerebral Palsy. The training was also attended by the representatives of the Commission for Gender equality and Local self-government. During the training, the participants gained knowledge on SDGs and how to successfully map the challenges related to the first five SDGs related to the social dimension of Sustainable development goals, to link them with the activities of their respective organizations, and to identify advocacy initiatives to improve the existing strategic framework in Apatin.
The participants were also presented with the open call to participate in a training and mentoring program for local campaigns. Through the open public call, the Social Pillar of the “SDGs for ALL Platform” will support the implementation of three local advocacy campaigns for achieving the SDGs in Apatin.
