As part of the social pillar of the “SDGs for ALL“ Platform, the Center for Democracy Foundation, in partnership with the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, has been disseminating knowledge, involving key stakeholders and formulating and proposing priorities and policies for the SDGs related to the social dimension of sustainable development.
During the first project year, the Center for Democracy Foundation has developed two policy recommendations. The first policy recommendation “Eradicating Poverty as Serbia’s Number One Strategy” aims to contribute to the formulation of a new strategic approach to combatting poverty in Serbia, based on the standards set forth in the UN and EU Sustainable Development agendas. The second paper “Fulfillment of International Labor Organization Standards as a Precondition of Sustainable Development in Serbia” aims to contribute to the fulfillment of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Serbia, with a focus on the SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth.
