any people in the world are endangered by war and conflict. Additionally, many suffer injustice in peace due to non-inclusion in the social system and insufficiently strong measures to prevent violence, corruption, discrimination, etc.
Nearly 230 million children under the age of five in the world, and almost 5% Roma children in Serbia according to the last public known data from 2014, are not registered in official documents, which prevent them from exercising their basic rights.
Serbia faces many challenges in terms of securing human rights, but at the same time it is the only country in the region to have a monitoring plan for the implementation of some 400 UN human rights recommendations.
The 2030 Agenda is committed to building institutions and a judicial system that guarantees everyone the exercise of their rights and freedoms and provides that all citizens are provided with a legal identity, including registration at birth.
