The Zlatiborski Krug Association has launched the “Green Initiative for the Local Community” literary and art competition for upper-grade primary school students in Užice and Čajetina. The aim of these competitions is to encourage students to think critically and express their creative ideas on ways to prevent and mitigate the negative effects of climate change, green public spaces and buildings, and beautify local communities through art and literature.

Students wishing to participate in the literary and/or art competition should send their works to the following address: UG Zlatiborski Krug, Slobodana Penezića 31, Čajetina 31310, along with their full name, phone number, the name of the school they attend, and their grade.

Entries may also be submitted electronically to the email address: zkrug@mts.rs. The competition will run until April 18.

A jury will review the submissions and determine the winners. For the authors of the top three art and literary works from Užice, as well as the top three art and literary works from Čajetina schools, appropriate prizes will be awarded. These prizes will be presented during a ceremony in Čajetina in May 2025, with public announcements to follow in due course.
