Social dialogue is a key mechanism for shaping decisions that drive sustainable development, strengthen social cohesion, and improve the quality of life for each individual. It is a necessary tool for reaching agreements and compromises on topics that affect society as a whole, and especially vulnerable and marginalized groups or our environment.
Therefore, ensuring conditions for a continuous and constructive social dialogue in public spaces that respects the attitudes, opinions and values of all stakeholders related to a specific topic is the obligation of every state that strives for inclusive economicand social development.
As the bearer of this responsible task, the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue of the Republic of Serbia has published a brochure entitled “Guide for Successful Social Dialogue” that targets all potential initiators and participants in social dialogue aiming to enhance tolerance, trust, partnership, and solidarity within society.
